A divorce is one of the most traumatic experiences you will endure. Hardship invariably occurs when a marriage is dissolved. Joe Marvin's intent is to guide you through the divorce process with his expertise. Joe Marvin has over 20 years of experience in family law primarily
servicing the counties of Anoka, Hennepin, Ramsey, Sherburne, Wright and Isanti. He is aggressive and will fight for his clients.
His law practice is limited exclusively to divorce/family law cases. It is an advantage to his clients that he knows the judges,
referees, and attorneys who deal in the family law area. In general, his knowledge of the individuals involved in the legal
process will enhance his client’s ability to make decisions that are required during their divorces.
Since opening his practice Joe Marvin has offered a free initial
consultation based on his belief that people should have the right to present their legal problems to a lawyer without
charge. This is limited to office appointments.
Joe Marvin is accessible. He knows other attorneys are not
as accessible with their clients as their clients would like once a retainer has been paid. In contrast with that, he takes
telephone calls when they are made unless he is out of the office or with a client. He knows that your messages are important
or you would not have called, so he tries to call you back as soon as possible to answer your questions.
Joe Marvin is a qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota
General Rules of Practice, which means that he could be your mediator in your divorce.
Lastly, Joe Marvin realizes that he often sees
his clients at the worst times in their lives. He wants you to know that he is aware that the circumstances under which he
has contact with you are not "normal". He understands that emotions run high when very personal decisions have to be made.
He is familiar with this degree of turmoil and able to assist you in working through the problems to resolution. When the
professional relationship is over, he wants you to believe that he has exerted as much effort as possible to obtain your goals
within the bounds of the facts and the law in your particular case. That is his objective for all clients.
